Ocean Park Elementary ONLY - School is closed for today. Ocean Park Elementary is without power. If you can come pickup your student(s) at the school, please do so. Hilltop Middle School Only - Thursday, January 5, 2023 Guardians and Students of Hilltop Middle School: We continue to have boiler issues at Hilltop Middle School, and unfortunately need to cancel school for middle school students tomorrow, Thursday, January 5, 2023. This will include evening athletic practices and club events scheduled at Hilltop for this afternoon and Thursday. We will resume as normal on Friday, unless we hear otherwise. Students will not be required to log on remotely but could use this opportunity to work on any current or overdue assignments. Thank you for your understanding. We will continue to update you as soon as we get more information.

Come see the Ilwaco High School Winter Band Concert on November 22, 2022 at 7PM at the Hilltop Auditorium. Admission is free! Featuring Concert Band and Jazz Band.

Long Beach Elementary is celebrating their future graduates with a snapshot of their students calling out our OBSD Key Characteristics! Seems like both our students and staff are starting out the school year excited and motivated. We can't wait to see how our students grow and learn this year!

The Emergency Management Committee's Annual Tsunami 2.5k walk/run event is happening on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at 9AM (registration begins at 8am!) at the Surfside HOA office: 31402 H St. Ocean Park. The entry fee is $5 for those over 12, 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Please call 360-665-4171 for information. This event is not affiliated with the Ocean Beach School District, but we wanted to help spread the word!

We are so excited for school to begin for the 2022-2023 school year on Tuesday, August 30th. Here are a few items to help with the new year. Start and end times for each school are as follows: Ocean Park 8:00-2:30; Long Beach 8:40-3:10; Hilltop Middle School 8:50-3:20; Ilwaco High School 8:45-3:15. There will be early release every Wednesday except for the 31st of August. Early release times for each school are as follows: Ocean Park 1:00; Long Beach 1:40; Hilltop Middle School 1:50; Ilwaco High School 1:45. The first week of school will be half days at Long Beach Elementary only. These are for parent meetings for our youngest students. Ocean Beach Options Academy in person programs follow the start and stop times of the buildings they are housed within. There is no in person school for OBOA students on Wednesdays. For all of our students in all of our programs, we are eager to see you. Only 7 days until school!

Do you know a high school student interested in Cheerleading at IHS? Send them this info! There is a Cheer Event happening on August 11 and 12 from 10AM to 2PM. The Peninsula Association of Performing Artists (PAPA) has a current production running from July 8th-July 31st featuring some of our own students and teacher! They will be at Long Beach-Coastal Community Action, 1510 Pacific Ave N, Long Beach, WA 98631 from Wednesday July 27th 8AM to 4PM and Thursday July 28th 8AM-12PM!
